Let’s Continue to Save Sea Turtles in 2024

We know our world is in danger facing climate chaos. We know so many organizations need our help right now, and we are humbled that with all this going on, people from around the world continue to work towards saving our planet, saving sea turtles and of course, standing up for injustices. Thank you for visiting our website.

Before you call me (my phone number is below), please read the following and understand that I cannot help you with land turtles or tortoises (I help save SEA TURTLES); however, if you live  in Sonoma County, California, below are 2 great resources. Both Bonnie Cromwell and Al Wolf give permission to have their phone numbers on my website. In addition, below is a link for resources if you are not in the area.

Bonnie Cromwell (707) 529-9489. Bonnie aids in the rescue and placement of tortoises and turtles and exotic animal rescue. In addition, she also helps with rattlesnakes. She also provides educational adventures for events.

Al Wolf is with Sonoma County Reptile  Rescue. You can call him regarding turtles and tortoises: (707) 321-0504

Tree Frog Treks based in San Francisco helps with turtle rescues. (415) 876 FROG

The book, Of Time and Turtles by New York bestselling author Sy Montgomery provides resources at the back of her book such as Turtle Rehabilitator:

Please note: Because we believe that the best use of our funding is to assist projects in their efforts to protect nesting sea turtles and their eggs, we do not have printed or any free material to send by mail. Instead, all our information is on our website and our resource pages.

Thank you for caring about sea turtles.

Here is a a new-born Leatherback on its first journey to the ocean in Parismina, Costa Rica.  At birth, this turtle can fit in the palm of your hand, but will grow to over 6 feet!
